Winter vacation

The class at university will finish this Friday, and start the winter vacation. I am very happy, because there are a lot of events in the winter vacation. For example, Christmas, New year's day, and the coming of the age day. I am looking forward to all of my plan!! I want to enjoy the winter vacation!!!

Motsu-nabe

I will go to downtown to eat motsu-nabe with my friend after school. We have been to there before, and we liked it very much. So we decide to go there again! I am looking forward to it very much.

Oyster

I don't like oyster so much. However board was deep-fried oysters yesterday. I felt bad before I ate it, and I also felt bad after I ate it... I don't want to eat any more.

Book Review 10

I read Peter Pan. Wendy Darling told her brothers stories every night. They loved Peter Pan’s story very much. One night, Peter Pan and Tinkerbell flew in the nursery window. Then Peter invited Wendy to the Never Land. Wendy agreed at once, and her brothers also fly to the Never Land. In Never Land, Captain Hook who is a wicked pirate and Peter Pan’s greatest enemy looked for Peter Pan’s hideout. Peter Pan was attacked many times from Captain Hook, but he won all the fights. He is a super star!!
I like Tinkerbell the most for all characters of this story. I thought she is so cute because she is jealous to Wendy when Peter Pan and Wendy were talking.

Book Review 9

I read Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Once upon a time, there lived a princess who called Snow White. Snow White lived with her wicked stepmother, the Queen, in the castle. Snow White is very beautiful, so the Queen was jealous of Snow White’s beauty. The Queen began to think of plan to get rid of her stepdaughter… She wanted to kill Snow White. The Queen told the huntsman to bring back Snow White’s heart, but the huntsman couldn’t do it. He placed an animal’s heart and the Queen got it. However she knew that Snow White is still alive. She was so angry and made Snow White slept forever by an apple. After the months slowly passed, a handsome prince who had fallen in love with Snow White kissed her. Then Snow White opened her eyes. They lived happily ever after. It’s a good story.

I did V-Check today. I tried to take an examination, and I checked my vocabulary size. I don't know enough vocabulary now, so I have to learn more words. I thought this site is very useful for us.

Book Review 8

I read WANTED:ANNA MARKER. Karen is a young art student from England, but she is helping the police in Thailand. The police want to find Anna Marker who is a very dangerous woman. Anna is the boss of gang, and her gang takes expencive pictures and other valuable things and sell them in different countries. It is terrible doing. For finding Anna, Karen encounters some dangerous things like killing. However Karen and the police can find Anna finally. It was very good to be able to arrest Anna.

Oversleep

I slept late this morning, because it is very cold recently and I stayed up late last night for doing homework. I am sleepy now...

Book Review 7

I read Dead Man's River. Jonas Clark who is this story's main character want to marry with Hatty. But Hatty's father doesn't allow the marriage of them, because Jonas doesn't have enough money. Then Jonas tried to get some money. He went to the Dead Man's River to get money. He heard that we can get money in Dead Man's River from old Harry. However he couldn't get money in there. When he was on his way to the house, he found a man who has a trouble. Jonas helped him, and a man gave him some money as his gratitude. Next day, Jonas meet Hatty with having money. Her father allows their marriage. It's a good story. Jonas kindness made their marriage succeed!!

I went to my sister's wedding reception on November 11. The picture is my sister's hasband(left), my sister, and me(right). My sister put 0n the dress that is colored pink. She liked it very much. My sister and her hasband looked so happy. They were smiling all the time of wedding reception. They will go to Tokyo soon. I miss her a little... But I wish they can live happily forever.

Essay 3 ～About Kumamoto～

We introduce about Amakusa. Amakusa is in southwest of Kumamoto prefecture, and it is surrounded by the East China Sea. The total area of Amakusa is 87591 hectare, and the population of Amakusa is 147657 now. There are a lot of tourist attractions. We explain the dolphin watching, Amakusa pearl line, and Mogushi beach below.

We can watch dolphins in Itsuwa. Around Thuuji Island, it is said that a dolphin of about 300 inhabits really. Dolphins snuggle up to a cruiser and can swim and can watch a face of a dolphin and a swimming figure close. There are dolphins with full of amiability showing dolphin kick and a jump inside. The kind of dolphins are bottlenose dolphin. Length 1.9～3.9m at the maximum, and the weight is 150kg～650kg. As for the color of the body, black or gray, the abdomen are slightly white. We can watch many cute and wild dolphins. Add We can see very beautiful sea and scene.

Amakusa pearl line is usually called Amakusa gokyo. Amakusa gokyo consists of five bridges, and it's a bridge between the Amakusa archipelago and the mainland of Kyusyu. It was opened in 1968. It is commonly known as Amakusa pearl line, because it's famous for cultivating pearls in surrounding of Amakusa gokyo. The first bridge, Tenmon bridge, connects Misumi and Oyano island. If we don't have this bridge, we can't go to Amakusa. So this bridge is very important. Oyano bridge(second bridge) connects Oyano island and Nagaura island. It has an arch which is cream color. Nakano bridge(third bridge) connects Nagaura island and Oike island. Maeshima bridge(fourth bridge) connects Oike island and Mae island. This bridge is the longest of five bridges. And the last bridge, Matsushima bridge, connects Mae island and Kami island. This bridge is red. All of them have different characteristic. In addition, we can see a beautiful view when we cross the bridge. I like the beautiful sea of Amakusa , and we could feel refreshed.

Mogushi beach is very beautiful sea. There is in Ushibuka. Transparency of water, beauty of a beach are distinguished. We can watch colorful tropical fish. From a parking lot to a beach, around 200-300 meters must walk a rocky place. At the time of a high tide, a beach becomes considerably small. Time of before and after at the time of ebb tide becomes shallow for a good distance from the shore and is easy to play. At this shore, photography of a duel scene of Kojiro vs. Musashi of NHK TV "Musashi" was performed in 2003. This shore is missing for from May to June and is known as the shore where a sea turtle lays eggs. The shore is protected very carefully by local people. In late years it is full of many swimmers in summer. It is got ready as a beach, and a locker room, a shower institution or a restroom, a parking lot are fully equipped. Seaweed such as sea lettuce sticks to a rocky place closely of spring from winter, and a figure of people collecting it is seen.

Very cold...

It's getting more and more cold lately. Especially morning and night are so cold!! I don't like winter so much, because I am extremely sensitive to the cold. However there are a lot of events in the winter. For example, christmas, New year's day, and so on. I am looking forward to events!!

Book Review 6

I read Little Women. This novel is famous as children's book, so I read this book when I was a child. But I read this story in English for the first time.
The story is the growth of four girls. They are very close sisters. The oldest daughter, Meg, is massive person. The second person, Jo,is an active girl like boys. The third daughter, Beth, is very quiet. The fourth daughter, Amy, is a precocious girl. I like Amy the best!! I learned the importance of family from them.I have to tresure my family more.

Takumasai

I went to the school festival of KGU with my friends. We had tonjiru, yakitori, ice cream, and so on. All of them were good, and I had fun. After eating, I went to the concert of Ayaka. She was good at singing, so I was impressed with her. I didn't know enough about her before, but I really like her songs now.

Book Review 5

I read ANOTHER WORLD. It was very interesting story.

Edin city is in another world, and very different from our world. The people in Edin city are always happy. They never fight, they are never ill, and they are never old. They were all young and beautifull. Everybody works and studies in Edin city. They always do the sane things every day, so there are nothing changes. I thought that it is very nice that they are always happy and young. However we can't have fun if there are no changes. When BZ who is a Edin city's person went to the real world, he was surprised a lot of things and he hated the real world. He didn't know about money, family and so on. In Edin city, they don't have a family. I thought that it's bad. I think that the real world is good because there are a lot of fun.

School festival

The school festival will be held next week. I don't belong to any club, but I will go the school festival. I'm looking forward to it very much.

Yukishio Chinsukou

I got a present from Jeff who is my teacher of speaking class. He went to Okinawa, and bought Chinsukou for us. It's named 雪塩ちんすこう . It is made with salt that made in Miyakojima. Yukishio is accredited the Guinness Book of World Records as highest in many kind of mineral in the world. I have had a chinsukou before, but I had yukishio chinsukou for the first time. It was not so sweet, so I like it very much.

Book Review 4

I read Drive into Danger. One day, Gary Slater who is a truck driver is ill, so he can't drive. Then Kim Parter who works in Mark's office in her holiday tried to drive a truck in behalf of Gary. She had to go to Faversham to get the table. Gary gave a particular account of how to drive and something like that. Then Kim and Andy started to drive. When they arrived at the truck stop, they found something strange under the truck. When they arrived at the next station, they found that someone looked under the truck. And they saw the strange man took something out from under the truck. But Andy also took a parcel from strange man. It was drugs. The strange man run after them, but he was caught from police in the end. I was surprised that strange man was Gary. I thought that he was terrible man.

Refresh!!!

I went to bedrock bath that is near Kumamoto station with my friend last Thursday. I have not been to there before, so I really enjoyed it. The bedrock bath is like a sauna bath. We sweat all over, and the metabolism is better. I dripped with sweat and I was sweating all over. I felt refreshed after finishing it. I want to go again.

After we went to the bedrock hot spring, we went to downtown to eat dinner. We went to 大山 in Kaminoura, and ate a motsu-nabe. I ate it for the first time. We chose a soup of miso. It was delicious. There were many kind of vegetables and giblets in the nabe. So it is very good for our health!! I had a good time.

Today is my father's birthday. My family celebrated his birthday last night because he didn't have job yesterday. He seems to have been happy. And he was also happy to get a present. I was happy to eat a cake (^-^)

Many Many Mikan!!!

There are many oranges in this picture. I got them from my uncle and aunt who live in Kawachi. They grow them near their house, and they give my family a lot of oranges every year. The oranges have not turned color yet, so they are a little acid. There are more than 100 oranges in my house now... maybe we can't eat so much...

Book Review 3

I read "Mike's Lucky Day". Mike who is this story's main character has a job of assistant van driver during the summer vacation. While working, he meets a girl called Jennifer. Jennifer is so beutiful girl. So Mike become to like her very much. They decide to meet at Chinema One to watch a movie. But that night, Mike were in the traffic's terrible, forget his money and his key, and the police think that he is a criminal. So Mike was very late for date with Jennifer. I don't like a man who can't keep the promise. Jennifer was very angry like me, but she allowed him because of Mike's letter. I was happy that they go well.

Shooting Star☆☆

I went to Kumamoto port yesterday. It was very cold and windy near the sea. There are a lot of stars in the sky. Then... I could see the shooting star two times!! I was surprised when I saw it first, so I couldn't pray anything. However I could pray my wish When I saw it second. I was so happy!! I had a good time.

Essay 2 ～About Kumamoto～

Kumamoto is in the middle of Kyusyu. It has four season, and we can enjoy every season. There are many tourist attractions in Kumamoto. I introduce about it below.

First, I introduce about Kumamoto castle. Kumamoto castle is one of famous castles in Japan. It was built by Kiyomasa Kato, and completed in 1607. It took about seven years to built it, so it is magnificent and noble. Musyagaeshi is one of characteristics in Kumamoto castle. It is a stone fence that drawn beautiful sweep. Kumamoto castle is used by locul people and visitor to Kumamoto now.

Second, I introduce about Mt.Aso. Mt.Aso is in the east of Kumamoto prefecture. It's an active volcano, and have a caldera. The caldera of Mt.Aso is in the biggest class in the world. We can see it when volcanic activity is quiet. There are many sightseeing places around Mt.Aso. For example, hot springs, leisure center, and so on. There are a lot of people who ride a motorcycle in summer.

It has many nature in Kumamoto, and we can live with clear air and water here. So I love Kumamoto very much!!

Hair cut

I went to beauty salon yesterday. I was cut my hair and dyed dark. I was cut my hair about 5 or 6 centimeter!! I liked it very much.

Essay 1

I like movie very much. I sometimes go to the movie theater with my friends or family. I like both Japanese movie and foreign movie, and I also like Disney movie. I often watch romance movie, but I never watch horror movie, because I hate horror movie.
I watched "nada-sousou" recently. It's one brother and sister's story. They are very close brother and sister, but they are not related. I was crying when the movie has already finished, because the brother was died. Satoshi Tsumabuki who plays the brother and Masami Nagasawa who plays the sister is very good actors. I thought that the roles were suited to the movie.
The movie "nada-sousou" is made in Okinawa. Almost of the lines and places were in Okinawa. I like language in Okinawa very much. I want to go Okinawa after I finished watching the movie. Please watch it!!

I got a stuffed animal of Mickey Mouse from my boyfriend. It is so cute, so I like it very much!! He went to Tokyo Disney Sea and bought it for me. I went to there last summer but I want to go there again.

Book Review 2

I read 101 DALMATIANS. One day Roger and Anita got married, and their dogs, Pongo and Perdita also fell in love. Pongo and Perdita have fifteen puppies so life seemed perfect. But Cruella De Vil who is Anita's old friend came to visit and try to buy all of puppies. She want their skins for fur coats. It is terrible!! Then puppies were stealen by tools of Cruella, however they were helped through Pongo and Perdita's friend. It was surprised that puppies increased to ninety-nine dogs. I was happy to help them safely. After that, 101 dogs was back home and they live together happily. It was so good story!

Book Review 1

I read THE WIZARD OF OZ. This book is a story of adventure. One day, a girl who named Dorothy and her little dog, Toto, are carried by a cyclone from her aunt and uncle's house in Kansas. When they came down, they found themselves in the land of Oz. Then Dolothy began an exciting journey with her new friend, Scarecrow, Tin Woodman and Lion. All of them had a wish. The Scarecrow wanted to get brains, The Tin Woodman wanted to heart, The Lion wanted to get courage, and Dolothy and Toto wanted to get back to Kansas. So they try to meet the Wizard of Oz and grant their wishes, but the Wizard of Oz was just a man. However the Wizard tried to help them. The Scarecrow was put some saw-dust to his head. The Tin Woodman was put a pretty heart that made of silk stuffed with saw-dust. And the Lion was drunk something to drink. They were so happy. At last, Dolothy and Toto also could grant their wish. It's so good, but they will be sad if they heard truth. Because the magic of Oz was lie... I want to see a real witch and grant my wishes.

The class has begun

The class of writing started in September 27. I like this class and I also like Rick!! He is a funny teacher!
